Mahi Mahi is a lean flesh fish with a mild, sweet flavor profile, moderately firm texture and large moist flakes. It is a great premium alternative to other whitefish products and can easily take on flavors introduced during cooking. Sometimes called Dorado, the name of Mahi Mahi comes from Polynesian meaning ‘very strong’.
