This specification establishes a stringent standard for transport container design. SKB ATA-rated cases are molded from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, the material specified by the U.S. military for cases and containers built to withstand the toughest field conditions imaginable. The case color runs through the material so scratches are invisible and the “poly” is resistant to all solvents, oils, fuels and acids.
Every case detail is purposefully designed to optimize function, this case will fit stand bag, shoes, carry bags, and drivers up to 48″. The molded-in configuration of bumpers and ribs are designed to absorb shock and vibration as well as provide protection for exposed hardware. The ribs give the case superior rigidity and create the unique male / female interlocking system for secure stacking. The aluminum valance on SKB cases provides a reliable closure and a neoprene gasket keeps out harmful moisture. Heavy-duty, die-cast locking latches are engineered for a lifetime of easy, smooth service. These quality latches are field replaceable and are guaranteed for the life of the case.
