Nordic Ware pans are made of uncoated natural aluminum for precise heat control and ultra-even baking and browning, no matter what recipe you’re making.
Most pieces in this collection feature reinforced steel rims to keep pans flat and prevent warping during baking and cooling cycles. Care for Your Pans:
- Natural aluminum pans will develop a patina with time and use; to brighten them up, try scrubbing with lemon juice, vinegar, cream of tartar or baking soda.
- Hand wash recommended with warm, soapy water. Stubborn food residue can be soaked overnight. Automatic dishwasher use is not advised, as discoloration and/or a rough texture will occur from detergent damage. This discoloration is cosmetic in nature and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan but is ideally avoided by a simple hand wash.
